Hope (Guardian Angel Series); 3D Character Model

Guardian Angel Hope - From start to finished one of my favorite and best characters to date with the longest time in production. This is the continuation and final part of the Hope Armorment projects (Pauldron AND Sword). The goal of this final project was not to create a photo real character but to have a character that was more comfortable to look at and one that will be used in many projects to come. I was able to utilize all of my knowledge from before and applied it here to this. This time around saw the introduction of the Photo editing software GIMP which turned out very well. In addition to software, I was able to put for the best of Marmoset Tool Bag's Render system. With Blender I created the characters hair using alpha maps and particle engine and utilized FBX to create a key animations with Blenders on board physics engine. The character rig was set up using the AutoRig Pro addon. This is only one half of the Guardian Angel series. I will be adding her partner soon.

This was with a combination of renders (Marmoset), one with Ray Tracing active (Full Quality) and on w/out Ray Tracing active (Full Quality)

Pose were keyed and sent for rendering in Marmoset. Finally all renders would be composited in GIMP.

The cloth physics engine in Blender was responsible for the hair movement.

Using the add-on Auto Rig Pro and Blenders animation system I keyed out one frame pose. Then bake all cloth and other active physics in the scene. When I was happy with the result I moved the keyframe to Marmoset.
